B.Voc in Cardiovascular Technology

Eligibility : PASS IN +2. BIO SCIENCE / EQUIVALENT EXAM.   Duration : 3 YEARS ( 6 SEMESTERS )

Bachelor of Vocation (B. Voc.) courses is offered across multiple sectors for students who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent. As against the common degree such as BCA, B. Sc, B. Com, a student pursuing B. Voc. will be more nuanced in industry-relevant skills. As per the UGC guidelines prospective students will be awarded Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma during his/her 3-year term pursuing B. Voc. The course is mapped with job role descriptions as per National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).

It is developed in consultation with the Ministry of Skill Development, Govt., of India and National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC). B. Voc. is targeted towards who wants to enhance their employability opportunities through earn, learn and grow. Since the curriculum is industry and work-integrated, thus increasing the opportunities for gainful employment.

The course is different from traditional academic programmes as it deals more with application-based studies rather than focusing on only theoretical knowledge .Aspirants quite frequently choose bachelors in cardiac care technology due to the career opportunities available in this stream.

Cardiac care technologists are responsible for handling the medical equipment and assisting doctors during invasive cardiovascular testing. Almost all heart hospitals and multispecialty hospitals hire cardiac care technologists, so technicians are always in demand. However, if you want to land a successful and progressive job in this field, you need a Bachelor’s degree. A cardiac technologist has a promising future in the paramedical sector.
